What is the event about?
Move4Mom is a global celebration of movement and love on Mother’s Day. It’s about showing up for your health, for your mom, or in memory of her.

Location: Anywhere — parks, streets, beaches, gyms, pools, trails, or your own backyard.
What’s the idea?
We’re calling on everyone to get moving on Mother’s Day — together or in spirit. Run, walk, cycle, climb, swim, dance — it doesn’t matter how, just move your body for 60 minutes.
Move for your mom. Move with your mom. Move because you can.
Take photos and share your moment using #Move4Mom.
How do I join?
- Sign up and complete your entry.
- Move your body for 60 minutes.
- Share your experience on social media with #Move4Mom.
- Upload your result using the email link we’ll send you.

When and where is the event held?
The event takes place on Sunday, 11 May 2025.
You can participate from anywhere in the world. Just complete your activity before midnight GMT on the day.
What distances can I choose from?
You can pick a set distance like 5km, 10km, or 21km — or simply move for 60 minutes in any way that suits you.
What does the R350 entry fee include?
Your entry includes:
- Official participation in the event
- Digital upload link for your results
- Certificate of participation
- A Build-Your-Own Goodie Bag (choose 2 of the following: ILoveBoobies socks, colouring-in markers, or a buff)
Plus, we’ll throw in some extra ILoveBoobies goodies.
Free shipping applies to metro areas in South Africa. A surcharge applies for outlying areas. DHL rates apply for international orders.
Can anyone participate?
Yes! There’s no age restriction, and no time cut-off. Just sign up, move, and enjoy.
I’ve signed up and paid — now what?
Get moving! Start training, plan your pink outfit, and encourage your friends and family to sign up too.
Do I need a Garmin or smartwatch?
Not at all. If you have one, great — it helps with tracking. If you don’t, no problem. Just record your time and distance honestly. You’ll receive an email with a link to upload your result.
What about Strava?
It’s not required, but if you’re on Strava, you can join our MOVE4MOM event group (link to follow soon).
What happens on event day?
You decide your route, your start time, and whether you go solo or with friends.
Stop for coffee, enjoy the day, take lots of photos. Just remember to:
- Track your start/finish time and distance (if you don’t have a device, estimate it)
- Share your experience with #Move4Mom
- Upload your result before midnight on 12 May 2025
Are there prizes?
Yes! Everyone who participates and submits their result is entered into a lucky draw taking place at noon on 14 May 2025.
Prizes include:

Are there prizes for speed or distance?
Nope. This is a feel-good, inclusive event. There are no race positions — just movement, joy, and lucky draws.

When will I receive my Goodie Bag?
As soon as we receive your entry, we’ll ship it. Even last-minute entries will be sent out.
