Amanda Smith - 4 Aug 2026,  Thank you, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in June thanks to the screening I attended at Willowbridge. You are amazing, I have ad my surgery and am working towards my recovery. I'll definately be doing the Imagine Challenge this October. This is my goal.

Last October, Johan contacted ILoveBoobies after his wife, Elaine, received an inconclusive biopsy and had no access to specialist breast care near their home on the Namibian border.

After months of saving, they travelled to Paarl, where, thanks to the coordination of ILoveBoobies Screening Manager Alex Munch, the generosity of Winelands Radiology, and the funds raised by the ILoveBoobies community, Elaine received the care she desperately needed. A biopsy confirmed breast cancer, and she was referred to Groote Schuur Hospital for treatment. She underwent a successful double mastectomy, recovered well, and has since returned home, where she continues her journey back to health.
