Here are your frequently asked questions with all the answers
What is the event all about?
It's about sprinkling a little bit of love with your friends, family and fur babies at a myrun venue near you, for the benefit of the ILoveBoobies Charity in aid of raising funds to educate, empower and screen disadvantaged South African women for breast cancer.
Where is it being held?
At myrun venues across South Africa.
What date?
All venues on Sunday 13th Feb 2022 except: Groot Brak, Fochville, Ladybrand, Brandkop, Naval Hill & Lavendar Kontrei Market who run on a Saturday, their event date is 12th of February 2022.
What time?
Check your myrun venue for exact time, usually around 7am.
What are the options to choose from?
Run / Walk : 2.5km or 5km
R175.00 gets you a t-shirt, goodie bag, lifetime membership & timing band to myrun all delivered to your chosen run venue. Your purchase also includes a donation towards a breast cancer screening.
Can I get a discount if I already have a timing band with myrun?
Unfortunately not, this is a CSI initiative and donation from myrun to encourage people to get healthy and active to reduce their lifetime risk of cancer. The t-shirts are subsidized by ILoveBoobies. The t-shirt normally sells for R249. The goody bags are sponsored by USN & Wintergreen.
Can anyone participate?
Absolutely, register for the event, there is no age limit or time restriction to complete your run/walk. Please be aware of the myrun participation terms and conditions.
I have signed up and paid, what happens now?
Get training, encourage your friends to join you, plan your pink/red/orange outfit.
Must I have a Garmin or Smart watch?
If you have one great, if you don’t, it is not necessary. By tagging your timing band at the start and finish, myrun will record time and distance for you.
Are we getting a Race Number?
No, your free timing band is linked to your profile with myrun – check their website for more info. Your results are recorded and made available on their website, each time you participate.
What exactly happens on Race Day?
Arrive a little earlier, remember to take your QR code from myrun (if it’s your first time), and your entry confirmation from ILoveBoobies. You will receive your goody bag, t-shirt & your timing band. We would love to see your photos with your tattoos on your calves and wearing your new merch. If you entered in the last week or even on the day, your goodie bag will still be shipped to your venue, you can collect it the next week.

Are there prizes?
YES, prizes will be awarded on a lucky draw basis at 18h00 on the 14th of February 2022 on our social channels. YOU MUST HAVE PARTICIPATED TO BE ELIGIBLE.
We have generous prizes from USN, Tifosi Sports – On Running Shoes, JBL, Totalsports & ILoveBoobies.
Are there prizes for positions?
No, this event is a mass participation, feel good event, there are no winner winner chicken dinners. There are lucky draw prizes.
Will the results be displayed on the website?
Yes, check on the myrun website under the venue where you participated.
What is in the Goodie Bag?
Your t-shirt you selected with the entry package and ILoveBoobies stickers, tattoos, and a few little surprises from our awesome sponsors, USN & Wintergreen.
When will I get my Goodie Bag?
From the myrun race organizer on the morning of the race.
What if there is no myrun venue?
You are welcome to do the run wherever you are. You will need to add a pair of socks or a buff or even stickers to your order to active shipping to your door. Please add a note that you will not be participating at a venue. Thank you for considering this.
How does my participation make a difference?
By staying healthy and active you stand the best chance of preventing cancer. By talking about ILoveBoobies you create awareness for Breast Cancer and how important it is for Women to regularly check their breasts. Breast Cancer is most prevalent of all cancers. ILoveBoobies provides FREE breast screenings to women who face economical or logistical challenges in South Africa. Proceeds from the sale of merchandise and your entry fee are used to fund the screening program.
